Zapier Review: Automate Everything Without Code

The good

  • 7000+ tích hợp
  • Zapier AI tạo workflow tự động
  • Reliability cực cao

The not-so-good

  • Đắt khi scale nhiều task
  • Logic phức tạp khó hơn Make

What Zapier does

Zapier connects the SaaS tools you already use and automates the boring work between them. When a new Stripe payment comes in, post to Slack and add a row to a Google Sheet. When a form is submitted in Typeform, create a Notion page and send a follow-up email. When a new lead appears in your CRM, enrich them with Clearbit and assign to the right rep.

If you can describe a repetitive task with "when X happens, do Y", Zapier can probably automate it.

What's new in 2026

Zapier AI

Describe the workflow you want in plain English and Zapier builds it. The AI now handles multi-step Zaps with conditional logic, formatting and error handling, where it used to struggle past two or three steps. For non-technical users this is the single biggest UX improvement Zapier has shipped in years.

Tables

Native database tables inside Zapier. Lets you build workflows that read from and write to your own structured data without involving Airtable or Google Sheets. Faster, cheaper, no sync delays.

Interfaces

Drag-and-drop tools to build internal forms, dashboards and lightweight apps on top of your Zaps and Tables. Closer to Retool than to a form builder. Useful for ops teams that previously hacked together solutions in Notion.

Chatbots

GPT-4-powered chatbots you can deploy on your site, in Slack or via API. They can call any Zapier action under the hood, which makes them genuinely useful agents instead of conversational toys.

How it compares

Versus Make.com

Make is cheaper at scale, more powerful for complex branching logic, and has a more intuitive visual editor for engineers. Zapier supports significantly more apps (especially enterprise tools), is faster to set up for simple flows, and has noticeably better reliability under load.

Versus n8n

n8n is the self-hosted, open-source alternative. Cheaper and more flexible if you have the engineering capacity to run it yourself. Zapier wins on time-to-value for everyone else.

Versus AI agent platforms

A new wave of AI-first automation tools is emerging, but for production reliability and breadth of integrations, none of them touch Zapier yet.

Pricing

Free plan covers 100 tasks per month and single-step Zaps — useful only for trying it out. Starter at $20/month unlocks multi-step Zaps. Real automation work starts at the Professional plan ($49/month). Expect to pay $100+/month once you scale.

Who should use it

Any team without dedicated engineering capacity that runs more than a couple of SaaS tools. The first month of Zapier typically saves more hours than it costs for the rest of the year combined.

Verdict

Still the safest, broadest, most reliable choice for SaaS automation. Try Make if you're technical and want to save money; default to Zapier otherwise.
